Media essay

The MastHead on the "Top Of The Pops" is PINK and GLITTERY but the MastHead for "The Sorce" is very BLAND but it works very well as the whole cover as it is a HiP HoP magazine and it also shows that it is for an older reader

Mojo Exam : Case Study

they use the media language to attract the target audience, the target audience of MOJO is normally men in their mid-40s to 50s this cover would attract people in this age because they would have been growing up in the time of when FLEETWOOD MAC was the most popular at this time.

The gold colour on the cover gives the cover a 'rich' feel and the red on the cover stands out it draws you into the magazine and make you want to read it the black and white colours will appeal to older readers.

the main image is of FLEETWOOD MAC and this will appeal to the readers because of how long the band has been around and it will give the readers time to reminisce about the band!

the layout is quite sfistacted and there aren't lots going on so it shows that the magazine is for an older audience

The MastHead is hidden behind the picture of FLEETWOOD MAC, the MastHead is white but has a drop shadow on it and the 3d effect makes it stand out.
