brighting lighting is used in beyonce's character when being shown of the camera . by using bright lighting her beyonce's face is half covered with light , the low-key lighting here suggest that she is sad but powerful at the same time.

the music videos for bruno mars ' uptown funk' and beyonce's 'if i were a boy' have a very contrasting use of lighting and colour . 

for example in 'if i were a boy' the colours are black and white but the lighting is very bright and there is always some sort of lighting on her in the video but in the music video for uptown funk it is very bright and uses alot of colours
